🕉️ What is Vedic Mathematics?

Vedic Mathematics is an ancient Indian system of mathematics that simplifies complex calculations through 16 powerful Sutras (aphorisms) and 13 sub-sutras. These techniques enable swift mental computations, fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

The system was compiled by Jagadguru Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja (1884–1960), the Shankaracharya of Govardhana Matha, Puri. His seminal work, Vedic Mathematics: Sixteen Simple Mathematical Formulae from the Vedas, was first published posthumously in 1965 by Motilal Banarsidass Publishers. This book presents methods that are both innovative and rooted in traditional Indian mathematical thought.
